XCopy

Examples

xcopy /d images c:\MyFolder\images

copy all files from images to c:\MyFolder\images, copying only those files in source (images) that are newer than the same files that already exist in destination (c:\MyFolder\images).


 

Command Window

Add the "Open a command window here" in context menu

Can also be done using right-click plus Shift

  • Click Start, Run and type Regedit.exe
  • Navigate to the following location: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\cmd
  • Backup the branch, in case you need to undo the setting later
  • In the right-pane, delete the REG_SZ value named Extended
  • Close Regedit.exe

Remove SVN files

Windows

Put this in a batch file if you'd like.  Simple little commands that will go through the folder and all subfolders and remove the .svn files and folders.

for /f "tokens=* delims=" %%i in ('dir /s /b /a:d *svn') do ( rd /s /q "%%i" )
